Happy Birthday and Opening Ceremony to the Winter Olympic Games!:o)
Hello lovelies!!!
I wish everyone the most lovely and wonderful day filled with so much happiness, joy, brightness, laughter, and so much more! Today is a special day...it's Abraham Lincoln's (a warm man of such greatness - one of my favorite President's) Birthday and it's my birthday as well!!! I just LOVE birthdays!:o) I love sharing it with family and friends and I think one of the best ways to celebrate it is to give and share your kindness and help others and make their day too!:o)
Today is also the Opening Ceremonies to the Winter Olympic Games 2010 in Vancouver, Canada. How exciting!!! I LOVE the Olympics!!! The last Winter Olympic Games were 2006 in Torino, Italy! I was so lucky and blessed to be studying abroad in Grenoble, France as part of my Masters Program and I had the amazing opportunity to visit Torino during the Olympics! I think the Olympics is such an amazing event and I am so in awe of these athletes! I can't wait to see the Opening Ceremonies! GO RED AND GIVE Campaign :o)
Hello everyone!!!
As part of Heart Health Month, the American Heart Association launched the GO RED AND GIVE Campaign in order support education, outreach and research programs to help save women’s lives. I just received another e-mail from the American Heart Association announcing that since the GO RED AND GIVE Campaign started on February 5th, the American Heart Association has announced that they are still $64,000 short of their $100,000 goal, and they only have until midnight on February 12th. They are asking to please donate what you can today to support crucial programs that give women the power to beat heart disease. Every dollar will help us reach their $100,000 goal by midnight February 12th.

National Wear Red Day and Go Red for Women
Hello lovelies!
I hope everyone is having a lovely and bright day!!! Today is National Wear Red Day and part of the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Campaign. Remember to wear red today in honor all those affected by cardiovascular disease!
Here is an important and scary statistic from an American Heart Association e-mail that I received and wanted to share with everyone: "Over 430,000 women die each year from cardiovascular disease – and most of these deaths are preventable. Too many women die each year because they are unaware that heart disease is their No. 1 killer. Right now, one in three women dies of cardiovascular disease and 90 percent of women have one or more risk factors for developing heart disease in the future. "
Please help raise and bring a voice to this important cause by wearing red today and sharing with others about the American Heart Association and the Go Red for Women campaign.

Pretty in Pink Macy's/Lancome "The Beauty for Charity Event" benefiting the Susan G. Komen For the Cure (Greater Atlanta)
Hello everyone!
I hope everyone is having a lovley day! Today I volunteered and help at the Pretty in Pink Macy's/Lancome "The Beauty for Charity Event" benefiting the Susan G. Komen For the Cure (Greater Atlanta). I had a lovely time and really enjoyed it! Other sweet volunteers and I helped with the silent auction portion of the event and gave out breast health information.
Also, I love to make things and make jewelry (I founded my own business called Daniella's Designs, LLC); and I wanted to make and donate something for the silent auction to help raise more money for breast cancer awareness.:o) I made a fresh water pearl necklace with pink swarovski crystals for the auction. They were all so sweet and appreciative! It touched my heart how gracious they were!
